FEBRUARY 2007
Another year, another project! We have been asked by the PCC if it is possible
to focus on improvements to the rear of the church as our next project, following
the completion of the re-shingling of the spire last autumn. To that end we
have invited Richard Crooks, the Diocesan approved architect to talk to us
about improvements he has been involved with in other old churches. He will
bring photos of these improved facilities and we will be able to ask questions.
Because this topic involves the whole village we have decided to invite everyone
to our AGM. So whoever you are, do please come and let us know your views
on improvements to All Saints Church
Another year, another
round of fund raising! We are planning two major fund raising events this
year.
In and around
the Church and featuring Floral and Musical events,
This is our major fundraising event of 2007. The Festival theme W.W.W. explores
Heathfield and All Saint’s world wide connections, from Robert Hunt
in 1606 to the present day.

Students from the Community College, All Saints and St Richards’
primary school, Punnetts Town school and Broad Oak school(we hope) will join
with people in the village to celebrate the arrival in America of the first
settlers. This
pageant will start
at the church, and end in the Community College. There will be events and
activities along the road between!
